African American
How come some African-American and Indian women look so similar?

I’m African-American and I’ve noticed that Indian women (from Indian, not Native Americans) and African-American women favor each other in some situations. Not just the skin color but the bone structures and features as well. Has anyone else noticed this? Why is this?

Based on the out of Africa theory and evolution of the world’s landmasses, the people of africa and india evolved from basically the same area. the out of africa theory states that homo sapiens evolved in africa and came out, expanding along the coasts from there. millions of years ago, the world was one landmass called pangea. india was its own seperate subcontinent attached to africa. because of their similar backgrounds and environment, indian and african people tend to look similar. the same can be said with native americans (in canada and U.S.) and eastern asians. if one looks closely, there are many similarities. this is because the native americans evolved out of asia through the bering strait.
