i’m worried about my style.?
hey guys. well my lifelong dream is to work at a fashion magazine. my problem is i dont think i have “the” style. i look at teenvogue and i see all these clothes i would probably NEVER wear. my style is hollister/abercrombie/american eagle. i love accessories and own over 25 real designer bags so its not like im totally lost. im just worried no one would hire me because when i look at the teenvogue forums, people tell me hollsiter etc. isnt fashion. i’m scared ill never make it big. keep in mind i’m 13 years old and im only 4′11 so i cant really wear designer clothes yet. i know fashion is an opinion but do you think its a clothing interest ill outgrow? i think i will. i cant wear this all my life, but i want something to lean back on. im worried magazines will judge me on my style.

People say that “hollister/abercrombie/american eagle” aren’t fashion but thats their opinion. When working for a magazine you don’t have to dress up all of the time. When you go out to events most of the time you get clothes for free. Of course you may need to wear a suit and heels to work, but they won’t force you to wear Valentino. You’re 13 so you have a lot of time to figure out what you want your fashion statement to be.
